Event info: Registration for each group will begin 30 minutes before the scheduled audition. Audition times by age groups are as follows: (i) ages 6-8, 9:15-10:00 a.m. for parts as Cherubs and Chefs; (ii) ages 9-12, 10:30-11:30 a.m. for parts as Mice, Angels, Soldiers, Party Children and Gingersnaps (for ages 11-12, previous pointe experience required, so please bring pointe shoes); and (iii) ages 13 and older, 12:00 p.m.-1:00 p.m. for parts in Waltz of the Flowers and Snow (intermediate-to-advanced pointe experience required, so please bring pointe shoes). All male and female dancers are welcome, whether or not affiliated with a studio. A brief meeting will follow each audition session for those dancers selected and their parents, at which time the selected dancers will receive rehearsal schedules (rehearsals will be held on Saturdays), discuss costumes, and pay a $5 audition fee and a $15 costume fee. Event info: Join us for the 5th Annual HIKE Run hosted by Job’s Daughters of Bethels 47 and 59 of Idaho Falls and 46 of Blackfoot on September 18, 2010. This “Run to Break the Silence” is to raise funds to benefit hearing impaired kids in our local community. Each participant will receive a t-shirt and be entered into a drawing for prizes. You can run/walk 5K, 10K, or 1 mile. There will be a kids division for ages 0-10 with special goody bags for the kids. Meet at the amphitheater in Freeman Park in Idaho Falls at 8am to register. The race starts at 9am. Adult registration is $25 and kids registration is $10. Awards will be presented for the top males & females in all divisions.
