Event: Area-Wide Auditions for the Rotary Club of Pocatellos 2010 Performances of "The Nutcracker", Ballet Date: Saturday, September 25, 2010 Time: various Location: The Brindusa-Moore Ballet Academy Studios, 150 S. Arthur, Suite 102, Pocatello Event info: Registration for each group will begin 30 minutes before the scheduled audition. Audition times by age groups are as follows: (i) ages 6-8, 9:15-10:00 a.m. for parts as Cherubs and Chefs; (ii) ages 9-12, 10:30-11:30 a.m. for parts as Mice, Angels, Soldiers, Party Children and Gingersnaps (for ages 11-12, previous pointe experience required, so please bring pointe shoes); and (iii) ages 13 and older, 12:00 p.m.-1:00 p.m. for parts in Waltz of the Flowers and Snow (intermediate-to-advanced pointe experience required, so please bring pointe shoes). All male and female dancers are welcome, whether or not affiliated with a studio. A brief meeting will follow each audition session for those dancers selected and their parents, at which time the selected dancers will receive rehearsal schedules (rehearsals will be held on Saturdays), discuss costumes, and pay a $5 audition fee and a $15 costume fee.
