Ghost announces new album, “Prequelle”; listen to single “Rats” now

Ghost announces new album, Loma Vista Recordings Ghost will release a new album called Prequelle on June 1. It features the lead single "Rats," which is available now for digital download. "Rats" is accompanied by a gory video featuring the Swedish metallers rocking out in a rat-infested, blood-soaked city. There's also a white horse with red laser eyes, because why not? You can watch the video now on YouTube. Prequelle is Ghost's fourth album and the follow-up to 2015's Meliora. It marks the debut of frontman Tobias Forge's new character, Cardinal Copia, who takes the place of the long-running Papa Emeritus character. Ghost kicks off a U.S. tour in support of Prequelle on May 5 in Riverside, California.
