Listen to Marilyn Manson cover The Doors' "The End"

Loma Vista RecordingsMarilyn Manson has premiered a cover of The Doors‘ classic, “The End.”

The Antichrist Superstar’s version of the 1967 epic doesn’t last quite as long as the nearly 12-minute original, but it does clock in at an impressive eight-and-a-half minutes. You can download it now via digital outlets.

Manson’s “The End” covers follows his take on the folk classic “God’s Gonna Cut You Down,” which was released in October. As he told Revolver, Manson recorded “The End” for the upcoming TV adaptation of the 1978 Stephen King novel The Stand, in which he’s also set to have a role.

Manson’s most recent album is 2017’s Heaven Upside Down. You can catch him live opening for Ozzy Osbourne‘s North American tour, kicking off May 2020.
