Slash teams up with Epiphone for signature Firebird guitar; appears on ABC/Randy Holmes Slash is known for playing a Gibson Les Paul, but the Guns N' Roses guitarist has teamed up with Epiphone to make a signature Firebird guitar. "The Firebird design has always been attractive to me," Slash says. "From a sonic point of view, they're set up to be very different than the kind of thing than what I do with a Les Paul...I finally got a chance to work with Epiphone to do [a Firebird] that was more to my specs." The Limited Edition Slash Firebird will be limited to a total of 1,000 guitars worldwide, 100 of which will be signed by the top-hatted shredder. Visit Epiphone.com for more info.
