Watch Linkin Park fans around the world pay tribute to Chester Bennington; Steve Aoki shares Linkin Park mash-up
ByLinkin Park has shared a video showing fans around the world paying tribute to the late Chester Bennington. The band posted the clip -- which is soundtracked by the title cut from Linkin Park's latest album, One More Light -- on their Twitter. "Thank you to our fans from around the world for your outpouring of love and support," the band writes. Meanwhile, former Linkin Park collaborator Steve Aoki has also shared a tribute to Bennington with a new mash-up remix titled "Darker than the Light that Never Bleeds." It combines the two songs they previously worked on together: "Darker than Blood" and "The Light that Never Goes Out." "Chester Bennington was my favorite singer of all time," the superstar DJ says. "I feel so incredibly honored to not only have worked with him on these two songs but am so deeply touched to have gotten to know him as a friend. I'm still shattered by this tragic loss." "Darker than the Light that Never Bleeds" is available now on digital platforms. Proceeds from the track will be donated to Linkin Park's charity, Music for Relief. Bennington died by suicide on July 20. He was 41. Copyright © 2017, ABC Radio. All rights reserved.
