WHAT’S IN THE BOX?!
OFFICIAL RULES – 2023
1. Contest Description
“What’s In The Box?!” (the “Contest”) starts Monday, March 20th, 2023 and ends on Friday, March 31st, 2023. KCVI (the “Station”) may change the dates and/or terms of the Contest without prior notice. Any material changes will be broadcast on the Station and/or posted on the Station’s website at www.kbear.fm. The Contest is open to all legal U.S. residents, 18 years of age or older, residing in Idaho. Employees or agents of the Station, Riverbend Communications, or other entity or sponsor associated with the Contest, as well as members of the immediate family or members of the same household of any such employee, agent or sponsor, may not participate. Persons who have previously won a prize (cash, services, merchandise) from a contest or station event from any of the Riverbend Communications (KLCE, KFTZ, KTHK, KCVI, and KNBL), valued $600 or more in the last 6 months are not eligible to participate. These restrictions also apply to immediate household members of contest or prize winners. A purchase will not improve a participant’s chance of winning and a purchase is not necessary to participate in and/or win the Contest. The Contest is void where prohibited by law.
2. How to Enter/Selection of Winner
From Monday, March 20th, 2023 and ends on Friday, March 31st, 2023, participants have four chances Monday through Friday to be caller #20 and correctly identify the “What’s In The Box”.
Each weekday beginning Monday, March 20th, 2023, and for the remainder of the Contest, at 7:15AM the KCVI morning show “The Viktor Wilt Show” will announce what hours that day “What’s In The Box” will be played. During those hours, the DJ in studio, “Viktor Wilt” or “Brenden Peach” will open the phone lines for caller #20. Four times Monday through Friday caller #20 gets one guess at identifying the item in the box. If the caller guesses correctly, they win a one of kind autographed guitar from Five Finger Death Punch, Megadeth, The Hu, and Fire From The Gods, and the contest is at that point concluded. If that caller guesses incorrectly, their incorrect guess will be posted on a splash page at KBear.fm to aid future participants in determining “What’s In The Box?!”
Entrants must give their permission to be broadcast in order to be officially declared the winner. In the event the entrant does not give their permission to be broadcast, that person will not be declared the winner, and the selection process will be repeated immediately until a winner is determined.
The Station reserves the right to preempt or not broadcast the Contest on any given day due to programming commitments, technical difficulties, and/or any reason the management of KCVI-FM determines to be reasonable and necessary. All decisions of the judges and/or administrators of the Contest are final.
3. Prize
The Prize consists of a one of kind autographed guitar from Five Finger Death Punch, Megadeth, The Hu, and Fire From The Gods. Prizes not awarded due to ineligibility, technical difficulty, programming commitments, and/or any reason the management of KCVI determines to be reasonable and necessary shall not be recycled. All sales, prize and other taxes along with any other incidentals associated with the prize are the sole responsibility of the prize winner. Prize cannot be transferred, assigned, or substituted. Station reserves the right to substitute a prize of comparable value should prize become unavailable. The Station assumes no responsibility or liability for damages loss or injury resulting from acceptance or use of the prize.
